Singh Fudge Architects is a London-based practice founded by Svinder Singh and Zoë Fudge. The studio works across multiple sectors, including private residential, multi-unit housing, office fit-out, retail store design, and education.
We strive to create architecture that enhances the experiences of its users and the wider community. Our projects are characterized by a thoughtful approach to materials, and an intuitive understanding of construction and detail, strong design and build quality is a focus of the practice. Our process is both meticulous and exploratory, supported by research, technical expertise, and collaborative dialogue with clients, consultants, and fabricators.
Svinder studied architecture at London Metropolitan University, qualifying as an architect in 2015. Svinder has worked for numerous award-winning architects in the 20 years before establishing his own practice.
Svinder has taught on the B.Arch. course at Kingston University and is actively engaged as a design critic across various schools of architecture in the UK.
Zoë studied Architecture and Urban Design at the Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL qualifying as an architect in 2008.
She has worked on projects from the micro (a shipping container office for a community group) to large scale city blocks of urban development, suburban densification and rural, brownfield re-growth. Underpinning these projects, regardless of scale, is a desire for equality and well designed environments for all users and for nature to thrive within and alongside.
Zoë has taught architecture and interior design at the University of Greenwich, University of the Arts Canterbury and University of Brighton and has been a visiting critic at various schools of Architecture.
We are part of the London Practice Forum, a collective of London architectural practices which care about the city, its people and its built environment.
